George
George founded Beautiful Memorials in 2001 with one clear belief: that every life deserves to be remembered with care, dignity, and craftsmanship.
Before opening the business, he worked at Fawkner Cemetery, where he gained invaluable insight into how cemeteries operate across Victoria and the importance of getting every detail right. It was there that he saw firsthand how much families rely on guidance during difficult times.
He later worked alongside a stonemason and discovered what would become his life’s work. Not just shaping stone, but supporting families. George has always believed this industry is about people first. The memorial is important, but the family standing in front of you matters more.
He is known for his warmth, his steady presence, and his ability to make families feel comfortable in moments that are often overwhelming. He takes pride in ensuring every memorial leaves the workshop exactly as promised and every family leaves feeling cared for.
Family is George’s world. Having his daughters working alongside him is something he values deeply. Beautiful Memorials isn’t just a business to him, it’s a family legacy built on trust, compassion, and doing things properly.
Lorinda
Lorinda grew up watching her father build Beautiful Memorials from the ground up. From a young age, she spent time around the factory and office, quietly observing the care, patience, and compassion her dad showed every family who walked through the door. She didn’t just see the business, she saw the responsibility that came with it.
After finishing high school, Lorinda knew this was where she belonged. She officially joined Beautiful Memorials in 2015 and has never looked back.
For Lorinda, this work is deeply personal. She understands that families are making decisions during some of the hardest moments of their lives, and she approaches every conversation with empathy, patience, and genuine care. She takes the time to listen, to understand the story behind the person being remembered, and to ensure every detail feels meaningful.
Lorinda has a natural eye for design and a strong commitment to perfection. She believes a memorial should feel right, not just look right. Nothing leaves the factory unless she is confident it reflects exactly what the family envisioned.
Working alongside her father is something she is incredibly proud of. Continuing the legacy he built means everything to her, and she is committed to carrying it forward with the same compassion, integrity, and dedication that Beautiful Memorials was founded on.
